PowerWindows trashing backdrop???
« on: December 02, 2005, 07:22:28 PM »
Just installed PowerWindows 1.1 on my Mediator equipped A1200. I can move windows off the screen, but the backdrop where the window used to be turns grey. If I drag another window over this grey area, it changes back to the backdrop. It's running on a 1280x1024x32 Voodoo screenmode. Any ideas?

I experienced the same problem here with my Amithlon system.  Did post a topic a while ago regarding this matter but did not get a single reply/comment about that.
Even latest version of PowerWindows shows this problem. I noticed that this doesn't occur when using Scalos: perhaps Scalos has a better Workbench refresh routine.

Regards.

I've just searched again and found that this can be due to PowerWindows being started after VisualPrefs. I'll try adding PowerWindows before it in startup-sequence and see if that makes any difference.

Should have searched before I guess
