Powericons system icons?
« on: December 01, 2005, 01:51:58 PM »
Where can I get some of the sets of Workbench icons I have seen in screenshots? I have tried searching but the only ones I can find are Ken's Icons and the Gnome icons, neither of which are really to my taste.

Hi, I have already got the PowerIcons programme itself. I am now looking for some PNG icon sets to use with it.

Well I don't think there's any real Workbench PNG icons but these are quite nice:

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=15764
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7214

And you can always d/l icon packages from www.wincustomize.com
and unpack them with winrar and convert them to .png

Amiga 4000 - CS MKIII

Amiga 1200 - Stock
Amiga CD32 - TF360
A bunch of ol' A500's

Also i want to said some words about powericons: for me (as voodoo3/mediator user) it works fine only in PC mode. In others modes some color bugs. So, if you will try to use Wipeout in window (for example) you will have a color bugs with it (becouse PC mode is sucked). Also, for me (060x66) powericons works now so fast as i want .. But i still use it :) think about get to trash it ..

how can one get rid of the "PNG" outline you get when you select a powericon???
btw, I too have searched for a nice icon theme, but no luck, luckily I like the os3.9 default ones... you could try the themes on the "Amiga theme experience" website, they are nice....

As I said, I already have the PowerIcons package. I now want to find some icons to replace all my Workbench icons. That's not what your link pointed to...
