You know scrnshts of WB4? The sliders are left.

There's much talk about ROM changes in classic Amigas. I'm again and surely as usual connecting this with the two left sliders in OS4. One in the System: window and the other in Work:(Programs:) windows. In my sane judgement the first is for ??? changes, and the other for ???? changes?

Anyone knows more of this? The sliders, something important surely.

You mean the "fuel guage" that shows how full the volume is?

The volume full guage was in workbench 1.x, but disappeared in 2.0 onwards, but the code was still in the ROM (don't quote me on the code being there, though).

In 3.5 (might be 3.9) it returned as an option you could set in workbench prefs.
