bppc power issues
« on: November 01, 2005, 11:13:32 PM »
I recently read that the bppc becomes more stable if add more power,i have already added the floppy power connector and i was wondering if it is safe to add a +12v to where the bppc fan used to connect, what keeps me from doing is that i know that fan connector from the ppc is +5v and not +12v,so i want to know if it can be done or not.

good god no, dont go adding 12v though the fan connector, just the 5v is damageing enough even though there is a small benefit.
