Yes, it will take 72pin simms up to 128MB.  If you get the SCSI kit too you can add another 128MB.

Just remember that the SIMMs have to be single-sided.
The SCSI-Kit can supposedly take double-sided ones, but I could never get them to fit.

I'm using a 32 MB double sided SIMM with my Blizzard MK IV, and it fits just perfectly, and have several other memory modules of the same fysical size, and have had a 64 MB double sided SIMM that fitted nice and easily aswell.

However, it will be difficult to find 128 MB modules which will fit the Blizzard MK IV without problems...

You can find HP 128MB simms on eBay every now and then that work with the add-on scsi module.  They don't fit the normal simm on the Blizzard board itself, because the slot is parallel with the board and the 128mb simm is too tall, hitting the 68030 chip and some ICs so it can't clip in.  You're best bet is to find a double-sided 32mb or 64mb simm, which are short enough to fit the single simm slot on the Blizzard board.

Although with the dextrous use of a plastic tie-clip (or even an elastic band) the 128mb simms work fine, as the contacts can still be made with the simm slot - it's just that it doesn't fit in far enough to snap into the simm slots clips.

Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

True, 128 CAN fit, though you need indeed something like a rubber band, just look at THIS link with a nice picture. I have also fitted an identical 128 Mb on a scsi controller for a 1240, which is the same controller as for the 1230/4 and 1260  :-)
