testing CPU

recently, someone here said that turbo cards replace completely builtin CPU. If, for eg., the builtin '020 is broken/fried, would it be possible to just use turbo card so that A1200 works? (or maybe use it for testing only)

@orange:

In most cases the stock cpu is disabled using the bus arbitration features of the 68k cpus and if that is the case, the cpu must be functioning enough to be able to do that.

I haven't seen any clip-on accelerators (A600-style) for the A1200, so I don't think so.
