Highscreen monitor stays black

I've got a Highscreen RGB monitor, but it won't show any picture. When switching it on you can hear a soft, siren-like sound. Switching off the 'siren' goes slowly away, decreasing it's tone until zero.
Is there any change of repairing this kind of problem?

Sounds like the PSU is gone - very easy to swap, you can use the PSU of any C=, Philips, Profex model for Amiga from those days - if you can find one.
