Hijacked ebay accounts? Check them out!
« on: July 15, 2005, 04:32:34 AM »
I have been looking for a PowerBook G4 and  have run across a lot of fishy auctions.  Check these out, they are from the same alleged hijacker himself!!!  Beware of the hijacked accounts for too good to be true goods!!

I'm sure here does. I looked at the link he posted a couple of hours ago and there were about a couple of dozen auctions for Macs listed all by the same person.

Ah they were all pulled.  Good for ebay!  These crooks are really pissing me off!  I foolishly replied to one guy a few weeks ago and he wanted to sell me one for $1000, Western Union payment only.  Yeah right.

Oh when I did the search the interesting thing was this guy had a couple eBay accounts from the UK to the US he had hijacked and had a gmail email address on!  So different sellers and same hijacker selling high end mac gear!  What is it with Macs and fraud?  I see it all the time on there!!!
