Mediator + Tv Card

Hi Peeps,

I've got a pinnacle tv card in my mediator system, and Ive tried 2 peices of software; SuperTV and TvR. My problem is That I can only seem to get 3 of the 5 uk terestrial channels and nothing more.

Does anyone know why this is? Or what the frequency ranges the channels should be in.

I just find it highly bizzare that I cant even get some really poor reception for some of them as I can get them all on my TV. Are TV card tuners a bit crappy?

No, the TV tuners on TV card aren't crappy. However, the Pinnacle TV card isn't always compatible, it is something with the cards frontend.

I bought a Pinnacle PCTV/Pro, but I could only get composite output. On my Lifeview TV card all channels can be accessed and crystal clear as well.

Hmm, I must be doing something wrong myself then. Because the card does work and I can tune it in to channels, just not all of them.

Hi lorddef,

Have you tried pluging your Amiga's out put to the cards input to see if there are any problems with that? It could be something wrong with the card.

If you have can you tell me what its like as I want to get a TV Card for my mediator to play some of the AGA only games on my grfx card workbench!
