EPROMS ... A burning question
« on: June 13, 2005, 03:43:10 PM »
:-D ........Has anyone done any Eprom burning ??

I see on Ebay the burners are reasonablely priced.
I'm thinking about getting one.
I'm retired and like to play around with the hardware.

I'd like to hear some of the 'ins and outs' of it.
Like whats the best (cheap) burner and a thumbnail
intro into what to expect (how its done).

Make sure if you get a used one that it includes all the power supply, chip adapters, cables, and software that you will need. Otherwise you might want to buy new. This site had a couple decently priced hobbiest ones. I'm considering the USB one.
