IOBlix & RBM Digital
« on: March 10, 2003, 03:00:04 AM »
I bought an IOBlix card about a year and a half ago now but have had some trouble getting it working.  Seems to yellow screen any Amiga I put it in.  The dealer I bought it from is unable to find a location to send it for repair here in the USA.  I've tried contacting RBM Digital via E-mail, but recieved no response.

Does anyone know if the IOBlix is supported anymore?  Is RBM defunct?  Is there anywhere I can send my IOBlix card for repair in the USA or in Europe?  Or does anyone know where I can purchase a new IOBlix board?

Thanks.

I've been using an IOBlix since it was released with zero problems.  Actually, one of the best purchases I've made.  Make sure your using the latest drivers (Aminet) and if that doesn't help and it's definately a hardware problem, check with Software Hut, because I know they were doing the upgrade on them.  They might be able to help you out.

It's a good card.  I've had no problems in nearly four+ years.

My system is a A1200T Micronik Zorro II, Blizzard 060. Can you give us some details on your system?

It appears to be a hardware problem.  Whenever I connect the IOBlix into my A4000T, A3000D, or A2000 the Amiga will not boot and displays a yellow screen which means that there is a hardware problem.  When I remove the IOBlix then it boots normally.  I have never been able to boot far enough to install drivers.  I'll contact Software Hut and see if they can help me out.  Thanks.

I have an IOBlix card that I've never used and don't need.  Got it from Software Hut (very good dealer) used because I thought I would need it.  Turns out I didn't.  It has not been tested, but since it came from Software Hut you can be reasonably sure that it works.  Send an Email to my personal Email account (mrye@wi.rr.com) if you want it.
