Hi,

Do any companies still manufacture, or sell, new 680xx A1200 accelerators and flicker fixers?  These things are getting really hard to find in the US in good shape.  Has the market completely disappeared for these things?   The elbox dragon looks interesting (I have no idea how they'll deal with the lack of full 680xx compatibility), but I'd like to have a new 060 accelerator right now!

Anyone know of a company that could make a limited manufacturing run of these items?  Perhaps it could be sent to China if we had the board designs.  Any thoughts?

One more thing, I was thinking of external scan doublers/flicker fixer and 1200D accelerators.  Not tower stuff.

Patents for the best accelerators (Phase 5 products) have been the property of DCE for about 6 years now. DCE have officially exited from the Amgia market. There's probably a slim chance for these to ever be manufactured again by someone else.

EDIT: Best SD/FF expansions for A1200 were also, I'm afraid, made by DCE. :-(

These could still probably be found here and there, but it could take you a while to track down a dealer that still has a "new old stock" one for sale.

You could buy an Amidex scandoubler an Blizzard 1260 from Amigis www.amigis.nl. But it's ver expensive.

AmigaKit.com has 5 accelerators (030 - 060).  You'll actually see an employee (owner?) of AmigaKit on here if you have any questions.

Eyetech and Power Computing used to do SD/FFs, but they don't have any listed anymore.
