Why not just run PocketUAE on a sufficiently powerful PDA?  A few hundred bucks and a vendor can have it heading toward your house tonight.

I play Nuclear War on PocketUAE on my iPaq 4155 all the time.

@CU_AMIGA

Yes, an A500 handheld is possible.........and it can be done cheaper than people think.  People say the chips are made anymore......who cares....they can be imitated...look at the C=64 DTV...........its a real C=64 even though the chips are "Supposedly" not made anymore.....well somone found a way.........the same can be done with the A500, although it would be best if it were a CD32 handheld with WHDload in it so it can run a majority of the games, say with some sort of 68060 in it, Plus play MP3 and Quicktime movies etc....with a 20 gig or 40gig HD in it like the iPODS........then it will be a Pocket Amiga!  Boy.....my dream come true......oh and with S-Video out to display on large tv if need be............like the SEGA NOMAD.

@x56h34

is that Sledge Hammer on your Avatar?

I see that guy in person every week in Manhattan........he looks much better now and surprisingly healthy.

He gives me bad looks though.........Don't think he likes me :-)
I dont know his name, so I call him Sledge hammer :-)

@everyone

There is such a things as Pocket UAE??? where can I get it?  I just sold one of My PDAs darn it.the more powerfull one..........it was a Sprint Phone and PDA in one with Windows XP or CE

Where can I get Pocket UAE? I still have my other PDA.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

plus, the PSP suffers much of the 'dead-pixel' syndrome.
naah, guess it'd be much cooler if the I-pod (with a 20-40gb hd) was bundled together with a gp32 (with a bit newer technology of course), plus touchscreen,  and of course UAE ported to it :-)

Sounds like a Pocket Media Assistant:-)
Whenever they release the SDK...
Now only if they had put buttons on it alike a handheld console, and it was just IT :-)
Still, it's a very cool thingy..

USB 1.1 Host port

so just get a gamepad and some ducktape :lol:

For PocketUAE I have noticed that the
Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX 720 has USB-host and can use keyboards, gamepads and mice!
Apple did it right the first time, bring back the Newton!
