CHIP RAM Problems: Keeps running out
« on: April 02, 2005, 03:07:56 PM »
Hey Yo Me Dudes,

I was wondering wehther anyone has this same problem. The CHIP RAM keeps dropping, and eventually runs out so a reboot is required. For example, i run a program, it uses the required CHIP RAM to run, but when i close the program, i only get most of the CHIP RAM back. So if i run other programs afterwards, i am bound to get less and less CHIP RAM.

I was wondering whether anyone else got this problem, and what i can do about it. I have used several A1200 mobos, but get the same result.

Regards,
A1200D / AGA / B1260 / 64MB RAM / KS 3.1 / AOS 3.9 / 4GB HD

Hum
memory leaks...

i seem to remember there was a program that like MCP (??) that fixed certain memleaks.

You are using ReAction gadgets ? (known isses whith them)

Perhaps you`ll just need to wait for an improved version of that program with the leaks plugged....(ie Ibrowse 2.3)

or keep rebooting...
