YAM problem
« on: February 20, 2005, 04:20:50 PM »
I have a problem with YAM ..
I'm running YAM ver. 2.3 (020).
My prefs or something has gotten corrupted.
I can download my mail up to the last message then
it hangs. It justs stalls on the last message and won't
clear. I've left it set for up to 15 minutes waiting for
the last message to clear but no luck.
I've copied over the whole YAM dir,TCP and Prefs dir from
my backup Dos dir but it still hangs.
I have no idea why its doing that .........

Any suggestions ??

Use webmail to check the last mail if it's dodgy (too long header or something). Or check the mails before download using mail download size limiting.

Umm.. I've used Yam for several years now.
I don't think I've ever had this problem before.
I'm thinking something got corrupted somehow.
I have no idea what though..........
