Booting AF6.0 from CD-rom and using floppy
« on: March 18, 2005, 05:31:38 AM »
Hello,
I have been booting my laptop directly from the Amiga Forever CD-Rom. I seems to load fine. I am able to use many of the programs with no problem. One problem that I have encountered is that I can't seem to access the floppy disk. According to the Amigaforever help, when booting in the KXlight environment the drive are available in a read only state. I bring up the UAE control and enter in the floppy drive letter and the adf file name and UAE doesn't seem to see it. UAE also doesn't seem to see the hard drive.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here.

Also, is it posible to have the system boot in the the KXlight/UAE environment and have both read and write access to at least the floppy disk or maybe a USB drive?

Thank you,
AmigaEd

Is there anyone out there with any thoughts or suggestions about this?
