Goodbye, its been great fun!
« on: January 21, 2005, 08:54:45 PM »
Well I decided after the MorphOS stuff that I no longer want to stay in the Amiga communiety. You all have been great help and gave me a lot of support over the years. I hope the help I have given has also been of some use to those I have given to. Thanks again and good luck in what ever it is you all decide to do in life.

There's still a lot of fun left in fooling around with classic systems. At least for the sake of gaming. That's one part of the community that'll always be around, IMO.

Does he mean that he's moving to MorphOS or to something totally different (e.g PC or mac).

I see

I wonder what he's moving to, PC or that Mac Mini perhaps.

I know what it's like, I left mainstream amiga use for the PC back in 1997.

I've been a Mac user for a long time as well as an Amiga user for even longer. I left Amiga and went Pegasos when the first Peg II boards came out. I jus sold the Pegasos and now I am Mac only.

Acill, why not just go back to classic Amigas and be done with half baked crap Amiga clones? ;)  Once an Amigan, always a Amigan, no need to jump ship and never look back mate.
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

@Acill

You must have had a particularly bad day.  No sense making such an announcement.  I for one don't think anyone 'leaves' the Amiga community.  A year or two off perhaps sometimes, but most come back in some form or other.  Take a vacation sure, but leave a bookmark for amiga.org.  And to think, things are just starting to look interesting (OS4.0 etc.....maybe those peggy's will run amigaos some fine day.....

At least check back in once in a while to see how we're doing.
We'll still be here when you get back, ya know when OS4 gets ported to mini-iMac  :banana:
