I've read that the ZIP Disk can be configured with CrossDoss somehow - but how?
First of all, you must not mess the disk with Faast Prep or HDToolBox. If you did, you need to fdisk the zip disks on PC again. Create single partition covering the whole disk (well you can use multiple partitions too, but imo single partition makes more sense, and this is how the Zips are configured when shipped).
On Amiga, if you want to use a mountlist, to generate the list use:
MountDos devicename.device unitnumber MAXTRANSFER=0x1fe00 GENERATE > zip.mountlistOr if you just want to mount the partition right away, use:
MountDos devicename.device unitnumber MAXTRANSFER=0x1fe00 MOUNTThese commands use CrossDOS. If you want to use
Fat95 filesystem, add FAT95 switch to commandline.
