mouse

I recently added an Optical Mouse to my PC.
I really like it. I think they used to make
adptors to use a PC mouse on the Amiga.
I would like to replace the mouse on my A3k.
I never have liked it, I liked the A500 mouse better.
Anyone know I can get one of those adptors???

@melott

A very good question! Do someone know this?

On my Amiga mouse, I have problems with the ball, it stops rolling. The problem is worst while playing real-time games, because of sweaty hands. The mouse mat is too slippery.

For my PC I bought a Logitech MX700, a cordless optical mouse. It's rechargable, and that's very important. It has a lot of buttons, for web-navigating and switching between windows.
This mouse is a real mouse! If I just could use it on my miggy.

I have a Mr Mysza, that I ordered through either Mr Hardware Computers, or Software Hut, I forget which.  (They both carry it, I think.)

It works well with a Microsoft wheelmouse I have.  It doesn't work so well with my Logitech wheelmouse, though.  :-(  (Actually, I think it's the Logitech's fault, though.  It defaults to a really crappy resolution without it's proper driver on a Windows PC, too...)

Anyhow, I'd recommend the piece of hardware, and either place to anyone in North America.  (I have no idea of overseas availablility)  :-)

For workbench-based work it should be possible to use a serial PC mouse with the correct driver.
AFAIK, there is one on aminet.
