Is it SCSI based or IDE?

If its SCSI, then setting up the proper jumpers, it MAY just work.  :-)

Give it a shot and see what happens.  :-)

It's a SCSI drive.  I haven't used that particular model, but I've used both older and newer Apple CD drives on Amiga.  They work perfectly.  I mean, it's just a Sony SCSI CD mechanism that was rebranded.  I'd be highly surprised if it gave you any problems, outside of the typical CD ROM dosdriver problems that plague all Amiga CD setups.
