Alcohol + Mobile Phone = Doh!

Oh dear...  Be honest now, how many times have we had a night out on the ale and at some point decided to send a message to our significant other to remind them we're thinking about them?

Woke up this morning after a chap's leaving party at work with a £50 dent in my wallet and a taste in my mouth like the inside of a badgers bum (not that I know for sure how that tastes but you get the general idea).  Worse still I've only just plucked up the courage to read my sent texts from last night...

Doh!  

However an Australian mobile phone company might have the answer to my prayers, for they offer a service whereby they bar you from calling / texting certain phone numbers between the hours of 2 and 6 AM.  I wonder if it'll catch on here?

Thankfully g/f is still a current and hasn't yet decided to become an ex, but I can only assume that she appreciated the appallingly spelled text informing her that she's beautiful at half past one this morning.

Well, let's hope she never becomes an ex. But if she ever does, it's about 99% likely you'll send the same drunken messages to her number at some point in the future without realising it.

I hope that's some comfort. Reading the messages sobre today might be embarrassing, but at least they reached the right person.

That's a consolation I suppose.  I've managed to send a text intended for g/f to one of my mates by accident, which caused me no end of grief as you can well imagine.

Thankfully it was something like "Hi, hope you're okay?  Am out with pals".  Could have been so much worse...

My pal at work was texted some raunchy pictures by the girl he's seeing.  He's managed to show the pics round to everyone in the office. :lol:

One of my students was showing pictures of his birds tits the other week.  I had to tell him was unacceptable, while at the same time trying to sneak a peek and not wet myself with laughter.  The student in question is 39 by the way!
