Aaaaah! So that's why Scots wear a small handbag in front of their personal belongings, just to give the skirt enough weight to push it down when they're sitting down. :p.

BTW, are there actually people who wear kilts as day-to-day clothing?

I've only worn a kilt once - at my older sister's wedding 4 years ago.  I'll be wearing one again at my twin sister's wedding next year too :-D

Probably the only times I'll ever actually wear a kilt though - they're too expensive and there's too many bloody chavs about :-x
