So I'm installing Toaster 4000 software...
« on: November 09, 2004, 01:57:56 PM »
and as I get to disk 35, its bad!!!!   Not only that..I try to reinstall and I figure maybe if I'm lucky, it will continue @ 35 if I click install..nope..starts at disk #1 all over again.  :(
You figure NewTek should of put this on CD instead of 44 or 45 floppys..  Now to find #35.

Perhaps it wasnt a viable solution at the time of release? When was it released, by the way?

I dunno.. I dont keep track of dates.  Since I'm in San Antonio and so is NewTek, I'll see if they have a copy of it.  Would be pretty cool to stop by and take some pics of the place that put the Amiga on the map.

The Toaster software is on cd (with a single floppy install disk) in the form of Toaster 4.2. I managed to pick up the 4.2 upgrade at AmiWest a few years ago for $125US due to the fact that my floppy install disks became corrupted. Best purchase for the Toaster I ever made. Then the battery in the 3000Tower went bad so the system sat for the last year or so. Just now getting around to resurrecting it and will be installing Toaster 4.2 real soon.
Good luck in your endevors.
