OS3.9 loads within 20 seconds as soon as I power up the machine (I have to go through only one reset, thanks to blizkick) and I have a high-spec A4K (read the sig for details). The little IDE-killer adapter takes away the IDE limit.

Well.. at about 17-18sec the monitor goes blimp and powers up (signal from Voodoo indicating WB is alive and kicking somewhere behind the still black screen)... then it takes a few sec for the reather big background picture to emerge and all disk activity to finnish.
