Mod Cables in an Amiga Tower Case?
« on: September 07, 2004, 05:48:03 AM »
The inside of my A4000 Power Tower is a mess of cables right now. The IDE cable off of the mother board to my 2 HDs, another one for my CD-ROM coming off of the X-Surf, the SCSI cable for my burner, and the floppy cable. (I've also seperated the video slot on my PicassoIV and have it cabled. That was because it was really tough to plug into my old desktop. But those are not too much in the way.)

I was wondering if switchin' to the nicer, more compact-looking mod cables would be a good idea to help with the clutter in my case. As well as  where would be a good place to get them. Especially if I could get someone to fabricate a floppy drive cable for me. It not TOO different from an Intel box cable. (Just missing the older style connection on the end and different wires flipped.)

It is nicer to have modded cables inside your Amiga tower.
It increases airflow, makes the cables more reliable and looks generally much neater.

We have modded round cables for the Amiga (in yellow or blue) which can be found in our cable shop at http://cables.amigakit.com
