There's plenty of daily useable programs, but you do need a harddisk, some memory, a graphics card, and some WB updates to make life easier.

For what I do (Amiga to comparative Windows Program):

FinalWriter = Word 97
ArtEffect 4 = Paintshop Pro 7
StarAmPlan = Excel 97
Pagestream 4 = Pagestream 4 (!)
Ibrowse = Most of IE 5

This is like having an old musclecar with the updates needed for modern daily driving (radial tyres, front sway bar, more up to date carb & intake etc).

Both an Amiga and a classic car take much more time & effort to use daily than cheaper, newer, solutions.  The A1 is kinda like a new GTO though - a bit overpriced but it works :-D

Hi all,

What I want to know is, where is all the hardware being sold on E-Bay going? Some big black hole? Somebody out there is buying this stuff. It hampers us die hards that need parts and stuff.
