It would probably be easier to purchase something like the Prometheus PCI -> ZorroIII bridge and use Voodoo and Realtek based solutions instead.  I've heard loose talk about these being (unofficially) compatible with Zorro II slots, but haven't tried/seen it for myself.  I think red still sells them for $139 along with brackets to fit it all into a desktop case.  Although it wouldn't be as slick as using your built in ISA slots, it's probably more practical.

I've currently 2 A2386 bridgeboards in my possession.  Is this "Etherbridge" capable of allowing me the use of an ISA network card on the Amiga side via one of these bridgeboards?  Can someone elaborate on that product a little more?

Thanks,
Adrian

You can use either Etherbridge, or Emunet, both available on Aminet. I have successfully connected to the Internet via my DSL router using a 286 bridgeboard and both packages, pretty decent download speeds. I am currently trying to get SAMBA to work so I can access my PC from my Amiga. I didn't have any luck using Miami, but I got AmiTCP v4 demo to work with EmuNet. If you decide to try it let me know and I'll give you any pointers I can.

Thanks, Ed.  As I don't have manuals for either of these, I'll take all the pointers you'll give.

Would I need to do a complete install and configuration of the Janus software, etc. before I attempt this?

You need to install the Janus software, you can get it here. The install from the Janus2.1 disk will setup a harddrive file to boot the BridgeBoard. You will need to install MSDOS. The software installation is fairly easy for the PC side, geting AmiTCP going can be a little tricky.

BTW, you said you had 2 2386 boards, you wouldn't be interested in selling one would you ?
