WTB Trifecta LX for the A500
« on: July 22, 2004, 09:11:30 PM »
Does anyone have one of these for sale or trade?
It must be the LX version, and it must be complete and working.

I'll even consider paying a small bounty to someone who can help me source one. :-)
[for example on non-English language auction sites]

Many thanks

One just sold on eBay.com this morning for $51 NEW.  You might email the seller, he was auctioning lots of new ICD stuff.

Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

It looks nearly identical (down to the power supply) to my GVP A500HD+ (which I am selling, by the way) except that the GVP has no IDE support.

Yeah, I know. I had bid on that auction. I was bidding again with about 7 mins to go yesterday, and the computer I was using (my sister's) just froze after I'd entered a bid amount and hit submit - the internet was at a complete crawl [transipres later it was crippled with spyware etc]. So I didn't manage to get a bid in before the end :( I even phoned a friend and got them to bid for me, but it was too late.

I was pretty peeved, to be honest, as I had been looking out for one for over a year. I emailed the seller, asking if by chance he/she had any more - the answer was yes, but unboxed/untested. He could do a buy-it-now auction for me for $70.
But that was more than the boxed one ended for! Plus I have to pay $45 for shipping to the UK :-(

Well whats so special about this thing, ist just an external Harddrivekit for the A500 there should be dozens of it, although there aren`t much that have such a nice fitting case. If it would be an GVP 530 I could understand it (I am searching for one for ages too)
Not really interesting, but it`s there.
