Spectrum Holobyte/owan's Flight of the Intruder did, IIRC.  As does Falcon (and it's respective mission disks).

However you'll have to seriously degrade the system to get either to run.

Do Quake and Doom support null modem?

What about RTS games like Napalm and Exodus?

It was either BlitzBombers or dynAMIte that allowed 8-player mode,
whether that was with a parallel port joystick adaptor or serial link
I don't know.
