Old Voodoo 1 and Voodoo 2 cards?
« on: July 16, 2004, 04:26:10 PM »
Not owning an Amiga at the moment (and certainly not about to buy old hardware), I have to wonder: is it possible for a PCI-equipped Amiga to use a normal PCI video card and use an older Voodoo-1 or 2 card for 3d?

Just curious.

I guess he means a 2D card with a V1 or V2 attached to it.

AFAIK, there are no drivers for Voodoo 1 or 2.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Short answerr, no... long answerr: if you can make your own drivers then it should be possible. With the direvers available atm it's basicly S3Virge or Voodoo Banshee, 3, 4, 5 and nothing else.
