Vesalia
« on: June 25, 2004, 10:52:03 AM »
Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is somthing wrong with vesalia?
I send them an email last week but they do not seem to reply.

I tried to reach them several times but no luck so far.
(perhaps I should be more patient).

Regards,
Erno.

Hmmm... They were always slow to respond, sometimes never, but always came up with the goods for me anyway, quite quickly too I might add. If it's just an enquiry, try to find out from somewhere else. If you're gonna order something, place the order, then send them a mail, and that usually works for me...

I send them in the past also a lot of email without reply. But a few weeks ago I ordered 2 simms and my prerelease. And they responded on the same day.

Ok,

I gave them a call this afternoon. Someone actually answered.

What I could understand from him was that he was selling things recycled. We were talking about replacement cases so I think he ment that. His english/dutch was not.....wonderfull but that is what I understood.

My thought was to check with you guys;

If I were to order a brand new A1200 (mine is really dying) will it be new? Like; white scratchless factory smelling  :-P.
Or will it be recycled, working, looking ok but with some degree of....yellowing?

Anyone experiences with items like those?

They should be brand new MagicPAck A1200, as Vesalia got the whole stock that was left when ESCOM closed down. If they don`t have original packed and sealed A1200 then no one has.
About the recycled things I belive he is talking about things like 68040 processors, keyboards and other spareparts.
(though the A600 Keyboard I ordered was still wrapped and I got two though I just ordered one (and payed one))
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

Vesalia has got to be the most friendly Amiga-store left. I ordered some spare parts for my 4000T, and they actually sent me twice of each item just to be nice!  :-o  You can't get better service than that.

But e-mail responses were a bit slow though, had to reswend a mail to get a respond. But it's a serious and alive shop, no doubt about it. And when they ship they do it quickly.
