Argggg all my 3.1 disks are bad! sell me yours!

Well all my old 3.1 disks had something leak on them, now none of them work so Im out my 3.1 and as luck would have it I need to reinstall 3.1 on a 3000 that has had alot of files deleted it cant even see the damn cd's I put in the drive! so where to I get the 3.1 disks! anyone wana lone me theirs? (yea right) Im not real happy about paying 40 bucks for it so id buy somone's used 3.1 if they got it.

Hi Big-Iron:

I don't know how anyone else does it but I have had great success using Oxi-Clean in warm water and a Q-tip.  If u look at the disk with a mag. glass u can see the problem.  wash with Oxi-clean and rinse.....  Let dry. Has worked every time for me.

As you own the disk there should in theory be no legal problem for you to download the disks as ADF of the net and use these.
