I am trying to connect my pc to a500 to transfer files.Ididn`t have a null modem cable,so Igot the specs and made one from ribbon cable and connectors to save soldering.I ran amiga explorer and it showed setup files being transferred but nothing turned up on the amiga.All settings are correct according to documentation.twinexpress,orion.paradise. all will not connect(Ialso made paralell cable to do it that way.).I dont know which side is causing the problem as no actual errors come up to say whats wrong. With twin express t get error on pc side with "unkown device" .Not with any other programs though.with parallel connectoins no errors with ports as such but "not connected" in shell when I try to transfer.Can anyone trll me what`s wrong please? thank you.
