Vnc between amigas, it fails
« on: June 03, 2004, 11:29:32 PM »
Hello...

I hope you folks do not mind I'm making too many questions.. :)

Here's another one: I have 2 amigas connected through a DSL router, they see each other, they both use the internet (dsl) connection without a problem, they even see each other and share drives with envoy,etc.. I wanted to use vnc between them, this is running the server on one, and running the client to use the former remotely.. I set the password for the server, and then I ran the vnc server in verbose mode: amivnc -v, then when I connect with the other one, the server detects the cient and asks for the password, when I write the password and hit enter, the server closes the connection and the output window of the server says: error vnc (32).. I don't kow what's happening.. it should work, shouldn't it? I've used this server and I've connected to it with my PC without problems, it just doesn't work with amigas.. (I'm not using the rtg version of the server as the machine running does not have a graphics board).

Any help will be highly appreciated!

cheers
