hotmail and .co.uk contacts
« on: May 23, 2004, 04:05:39 PM »
Sioux is having problems adding contacts to her hotmail account that end in .co.uk.  All .com ones add fine.

Anyone know any reason why this is?  And don't come back saying it's because hotmail's sh*te :-P

Hoya!

Go to Yahoo!

OK, maybe the dumb thing thinks that .co.uk are TWO extensions instead of just one, .com?

She uses msn a lot, so going to yahoo is a bit of a no (she doens't know anyone on yim and getting everyone she talks to to go over to yim would be a big task ;-) )

Two extensions, I never thought of that.  That could be the reason, but I can add people with .co.uk to my msn account.  Good answer though, I never thought of that :-)

Err, you don't need a Hotmail account to use MSN.

I wouldn't use Hotmail if you pressed hot brands to my feet. It is the worst free e-mail service available by far.
