Hey guys I remember reading a while back in a news article from amiga about their new machines and stuff.. just wondered... whatever happened to "The Chip" ?

Yeah the Mystery Chip that was compared to a VooDoo 2 at the time... it was like 200 triangles per second to 90 on the voodoo or something... just wondered if anything ever came of it.

Guess it was just vapor, like most other post Commodore stuff. In the ten years since Commodore's fall, nothing has been released at all, except for the A1. And I belive the MMC never got past the drawing-board, or if it was ever designed at all. Nobody knows.
