Upcomming software to be released for the A1
« on: April 28, 2004, 01:01:59 AM »
Can someone please send links to upcomming, planned software for the Amigaone and OS4. Drooling over the OS4 pics is driving me mad not knowing what software to expect to go with all that power.  Although I know the A1 will be able to run all the old amiga stuff, I am very interested in new programs, office suites, image manipulation programs (ie stuff like photoshop the gimp and paintshop pro), digital video editing programs, games, and well, you know...stuff like that
There was a time I can remember computers were fun...I miss my A1200.

I bet those 31 people were like me and thought this topic was a list itself of upcoming os4 software.  And when they saw that it wasn't they didn't know what to say about it, so they surfed away.  But I knew what to say so as you see I said it :-)

Most people in other countries could well be asleep esp. some of the most active members, so wait a bit and some answers may turn up.

My main reason for owning an Amiga has for years been the OS, Pagestream, and ImageFX. You probably already know the URL's for Grasshopper and Novadesign. . .  or try google. AmigaPPC Pagestream is already available. ImageFX 4.5 with the PPC add-ins is said by Novadesign (in answer to an email inquiry) to be compatible with OS4. And of course, OS4 is compatible with OS4.

I wish Thor was still going to be updated. But that's probably not likely. I'd be thrilled to hear that PFS3 would become PPC native. All of Softwood's stuff would be nice.

But I've already paid for PagestreamPPC, ImageFX 4.5 and OS4.

BTW, you might find more announcements about OS4 software plans over at Amigaworld.net.
