Need some serious help!
« on: January 07, 2003, 12:31:57 PM »
Ok you Amiga fans all around here...
I need some serious help, as the topic says.
Santa came late this year, but oh well...i“vot a lot of some really nice pieces of Amiga Hardware, but i have some problems with them.
In short...this is what i need:
- Mercury 040 Accelerator for my Amiga 3000: came with no soft disk at all. Do i need anything to make it work properly on my 3000?
- Vlab Motion: no software at all. Where can i get Movieshop? Do i need any extra soft or install disk?
- Blizzard PPC 603+: come with no coolerbroken scsi cable and no install disk. Is it possible to get both things somewhere??
- FlickerMagic internal: come with no manual no diks. Could anybody gimme a hand on this?
- Cybervision 3d: come with only manual in german. Anybody could supply me an english manual?

I hope i made myself clear & that somebody could help me so i can get fully use of all this nice stuff!

Kind Regards!

Sebastian

Theres really no need for a CV64/3D manual. Just download Picasso96, and unarchive it to a temporary dir on your HD. Power down the miggy, shove it in a zorro slot, and power back up. Run the picasso 96 installer, upon reboot you should have Cybervision modes in the screenmode prefs, just select one and off you go...

Ey Tickly! thanks for such a fast reply! My Amiga monitor is a 1960 (and i also have a 1942), is it safe to use it under Cybervision? or shall i use a SVGA PC-style monitorin order to get full use of all colours and modes?

The 1960 is basically an SVGA tube.. You can use that, or alternatively a more modern monitor.

The 1960 goes to waste with an A3000, however, since the A3000 has a flicker fixer built in.

Sell the 194x to someone who's desperate, I can't really recommend that monitor to anyone nowadays. :-)
