Hello from California!
« on: September 01, 2024, 08:35:06 PM »
Hello! I have collected many vintage consoles and a few computers, so I decided to get an Amiga. I have a Sega Genesis-CD-32X, a PS1 (SGRAM model I think but with a parallel port), a Sega Saturn (MK-80000), an N64, a New-Style SNES, and a Light-Sixer Atari VCS! (I also have a Dreamcast that has not been set up yet). I have just bought an Amiga 1200 off of UK eBay to complement my Commodore 128 and somehow ended up here. Hopefully it arrives soon and does not get damaged during shipping because it was in such good condition! I also have an early model Pentium II PC (Dell Dimension XPS D233) and some random 2015 Dell which is just hooked up to a CRT and running FreeBSD. Does anyone have any good suggestions for Amiga games? Banshee looks good because I have always liked scrolling shooters and I also particularly like FPSes so I will likely get ADooM.

Welcome!

For FPS you'd likely need some accellerator card otherwise they usualy suck on a base machine.

but congrats on the 1200 and let's hope it arrives fine!

I really like the 3-level preview, Metro Siege.  See
