DS/DD amiga floppy disks

Hi!

Do anybody know were I can find new DS/DD floppy disks? or can I use another kinds of floppy disk that are easyer to find in the stores?

I know that I can found DS/DD floppy disks at www.ebay.com , but are the any store that sell it?

He-Man,

You can use PC DS/HD and just format them as miggy disks.  You can pick these up from most pc stores.  Or if you wish I still have a stack of them in the house if you want some DS/DD ones - I just havn't had the heart to chuck em out but you can have em if you wish.

DD formatted HD floppies can become corrupted very quickly. Something to do with HD floppies requiring stronger electromagnetic fields to be written to properly (or just the other way around).

Floppies have a reliable lifetime of about 10 years if I'm right, just like video tapes. So using secondhand floppies for critical data might also not be a good idea.

I have no idea where to get new DS/DD though :-(.
