Cannot use the Amiga.org chat when behind proxy

Hi,

I finally got X-chat working on my A1. I use a winproxy program on my laptop to connect to the internet. But when I want to go to the Amiga.org channel I get disconnected. Happens when connecting to the server. I think because of insecure proxy. Can this be made working? The Amigaworld.net channel works just fine.

Are you getting an error code from the server?

Have you got XChat properly set up for using a proxy (Preferences - Network - Network Setup, in v2.0.7 at least)?
