3 Leicester City footballers charged
« on: March 07, 2004, 11:33:27 AM »
So 3 Leicester City players have "scored" - shame they couldn't have replicated that when they play on a Saturday afternoon !!

I heard the other day that Leicester City Manager Micky Adams bought Paul Dickov after pressure from the fans. Every week he would hear them shout "Get that Dick off"!

If you're wondering what this is all about and what the jokes above refer to, have a look at this...

They're jokes?

They didn't seem particularly amusing to me. But maybe that's just me. I'm sure most normal people find rape incredibly funny.

BTW, World Exclusive on the front of the daily mirror this morning. Paul Dickov threatened to kill the rape victims if they told the police anything about the incident. Shocking, isn't it?  :-o

First, you laugh at the victims of Morecambe bay, now you laugh at raping and threatening.

I've had it with your sick humour Sumner7 :-x

I think these guys have to play their matches without their balls. :-x

These guys are innocent until proven guilty.

After watching the press conference with Micky Adams yesterday, some of the players accused weren't at the scene of the incident.

So Speelgoedmannetje, if you can't laugh about anything in the news, what can you laugh about? :ranting: :-?

You know, psychopaths laugh at such jokes, because they do not have any sense of other's suffering.

And maybe these guys are innocent, but if they aren't, it'd be one of those countless incidents caused by such testosterone-boosted {bleep}s. The 'football attitude' is as guilty as hell.

In the eyes of the law. In reality, you and I will never know what went on. But if this is intended to excuse your joke, you're falling some way short.

The women who were allegedly "raped" were filmed laughing and joking just hours after the incident happened. They are getting £60,000 for the story from an english newspaper (probably the Sun) because they are broke.

The club's sponsors, Alliance and Leicester, are threatening to drop their deal with the club at the end of the season. The deal is supposed to run out in 2005, but the company feels that this incident is giving them a bad name.

Think why.

one word -> football riots <- this attitude, it's all over that sport. Too much macho's, who en passant beat their wifes up at home and so.

Last night, the 3 players involved, Paul Dickov, Keith Gillespie and Frank Sinclair were all granted bail. They look set to be freed to day but won't be available for Leicester's Premiership clash at Birmingham City tomorrow.
