Amigaone xe Sata pci

I am trying to switch over to a Sata pci setup and
It recognizes HD but not cdrom have the cd as master
And HD’s slave says no slb found any help thanks
I have. A parallel pci works but too many freezes

I'm presuming your PCI card is a SIL card?

Isn't the CD-ROM parallel?

If it is, plug the CD-ROM into one of the on-board IDE connectors, making sure that it is enabled in the startup menu (press any key whilst booting).

Make sure you tell the XE to boot from on-board CD-ROM and make sure the SATA HD is selected in that boot menu, too
