setting up my micro a1 [os4.1fe] and having internet connection issues

so i just dusted off my micro a1 after it being parked in a cupboard for years and I have been trying to connect it to the internet which I have never done before through a netgear wifi range extender that has a ethernet port.



I am clearly able to connect to the extender, yet the internet just refuses to work it is not a issue with a extender as it works fine with a windows based laptop.

any ideas?

maybe you could issue the command shownetstatus in a shell and see what it says.

a ping towards http://www.google.com would also help, maybe you have a DNS problem.
