Happy holidays, Amigans!
I've just finished recapping my rackmount Amiga 1200, and I'm happy to say that it boots and has been stable for twelve hours so far

One of the things that I'd like to fix, though, is the MV1200 scandoubler / flickerfixer. I have two. They never gave a good picture - the picture was always a bit milky without good contrast. They also generate a LOT of heat and take lots of power. The MV1200 in the rackmount Amiga 1200 is installed without the plastic case so that it gets cooled better, which helps.
However, over the years, the display has gone from milky to shadowy to practically unusable unless the contrast and brightness on the connected monitor are set dramatically.
Does anyone know whether these can be fixed, and if so, how?
Separately, the composite video output seems to be in greyscale. I don't remember this ever being a problem in the past, so I'm wondering if anything that may've happened during the recapping. Does anyone have any recommendations for things to check?
