I'm very sorry to hear that Dave has passed.  What a shame...

When I was watching the Amiga 30th videos I thought there might be something wrong with Dave because in one of the videos RJ makes a quick comment about Dave going through some tough times.

Did anybody else catch that?  I don't remember which video it was but I know it was RJ talking about Dave and looking at him.

-P

PS:  I don't know if anybody has posted this but here is a great article on Dave which give you a glimpse into how skilled he really was:  http://allincolorforaquarter.blogspot.com/2013/07/dave-needle-and-jerry-lawon-two-early.html

I am deeply honored that I got to see him in person, hear his stories, see him and RJ cavort on stage an regale us with tales of old, and converse with him briefly.  As emotional of an experience attending Amiga 30 was for me, I find myself feeling equally emotional at hearing of his passing.

Thank you, Dave.  Your goal of changing the world indeed changed mine, and I'll never forget your answer to my question: "It's been THIRTY YEARS!" :)

Not to forget the Lynx and 3DO; he was involved with not just one good machine but three.

I got everyone I could to sign my A1000 lid... if I had just remembered to bring my Lynx with me... UGH.
