Unless you have a windows version already set up, you need the linux resource files...

http://nwn.bioware.com/downloads/linuxclient.html#lininstall

"Installing Using Downloaded Linux Client Resources

1. Download and extract the contents of the Linux Client Resources (nwresources129.tar.gz, 1.12 GB). This file is available for download from these mirror site(s):"

1.12 Gig!  :-D thank god for cable!

I wonder why bioware didn't bother to release a Linux CD pack. Seems a bit silly to me. Does it even have all the expansions and what have you? Sheesh my NWN folder is almost 3 gigs.

Speaking of, make sure that you download the Community Expansion Pack (CEP), 'cos A) it rocks and B) my world uses it, so if you don't have it, you can't get in.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA 3 gigs. I remember whining about installing Bloodnet on my HDD, 'cos it was EIGHT, DD floppies. Sad, so sad...
