Wordworth rocked on the Miggy as far as I was concerned.

I wrote my dissertation on it back in the heady days of 1995. :pint:

Do you realize that Amiga operating systems are using free and open source software that was not written on Amiga at all? :)

MEmacs? :)

Isn't Photogenics written in E?

No.  Or, at least, v5 isn't as it's multi-platform.

The older ones might have been, it did get a big rewrite at one point which also resulted in the loss of the ARexx port.

Although E wouldn't be a massive problem these days, as we have PortablE.

It will be interesting to see if Trevor and company continue development of the non-Amiga versions of this program.
While development on Aladdin might have appeared to have reached a stand still, I can assure you that the original owner was actively recruiting coders to promote development on multiple platforms.

Since I was one of those programmers, and I have seen the existing source code, its my opinion that Trevor has a nice base to build from.

Wordworth rocked on the Miggy as far as I was concerned. I still have a downloaded version of Wordworth 1.0 for the PC somewhere. They shoudl maybe persuade whoever owns Digita these days to hand Wordworth over for a bundle of notes.

There was still some guys from the Amiga era at Digita when I contacted them in 2011, they even gave me a licence key code for Wordworth 7 that I could share with other Amiga users.

Pretty much the only thing that Wordworth needs is support for loading/saving .docx files and PDF export to be perfect really.

Wordworth doesn't have true color image support, that sucks. I found out the hard way by buying it more than ten years ago. To make things worse the second hand copy I bought turned out to be pirated... :)
