Installing Pagestream 3 in Amiga 1200 WB 3.0

I did a new installation of Pagestream, 3 which I bought in its NOS version, in my A1200 with WB 3.0. I have a 80GB HDD with several partitions.

The installation ran smoothly and encountered no errors, but when I double click the icon to launch the program nothing happens. The menu bar says "Attempting to load Page Stream (or something like that) but then nothing happens.

Do I have to try something different?

P.S. I did send an email to support@softlogik.com asking for help and to register the product, but so far no answer.

Please say it isn't 3.0. That was really a beta release that was buggy as hell. By the time 3.1 was out, most of the problems were fixed, but not really worth using until 3.2.
I still use Pagestream 3.4 with no problems.
Usually when Pagestream starts for the first time, it asks for the serial # and pass word. You program not doing this?

Yes, it is 3.0 and not it doesn't ask me for the registration yet.

I have the card that comes with the manual and disks, which has a temporary password. I sent an email to register, but no answer. I just bought in NOS condition.

Any suggestions?

Out of curiosity... where did you find a NOS Pagestream 3.0 to buy?

I just had a thought too - how much RAM does your 1200 have? Pagestream 3.0 may have used more memory than other versions. Wish I could help more.

He could also try increasing the stack size too.
