Roadshow purchase.
« on: April 08, 2014, 02:36:32 AM »
Has anyone purchased Roadshow from the APC&TCP Amiga Online shop?

I purchased and paid via PayPal this morning, but have not gotten an email
with the D/L info.

Usually these things are automated and you get the D/L link immediately.
I suppose it could take longer if they are doing the process manually.

How long did it take for the D/L link for those that have ordered?

Thanks

Not in a Spam folder, I just have not received it. and when I log in to their web
site and look at "My Orders" it shows the order but says it's waiting payment.

I wonder if PayPal holds the payment for a time since it is in international
transaction, and they are waiting for it to clear or something.

Oh well, if I have not heard from them by tomorrow when I drag myself out of bed
I will email them.

I was just checking how long it took for other people.

I tried to order Imagine 5 the other day from CAD technologies inc., but
their online ordering company (RegNet) seems to have been bought out
by some part of the Digitalriver organization, and there is no where to enter the
code for the package on the new company's web site. I sent them an email last
week and never got a reply.

Also can't seem to order Aladdin from it's new owners anymore either.

I'm just having bad luck with online ordering all around

From memory there was a delay, then it showed up under my account. :-) Don't think it was an automatic process.

Just to let everyone know I did get the email and got Roadshow
downloaded.

Look like it was not an automated process, all in all, it did take less than 24 hours.
According to my email the update with the link arrived at 3am.

Thanks for the info

Keep in mind that RoadShow does put up bells or whistles, after the reboot just open a shell and ping your router to test.  The extra programs can help troubleshoot if needed.
